Noise, Four Elements, Skin, Neon (ITTU)
These four distinct language-architecture compositions are built from photographic structures, each unfolding within its own unique atmosphere. The selected quotes are taken from the novel Suttree by Cormac McCarthy. The visual structures incorporated into the works vary widely – from weather patterns found in meteorological maps, to images of skin with tattoos, cracked ice surfaces, and pixels on a screen.
Each composition tells its own story, shaped by the interplay between image and text. In Skin, for instance, a tension arises between hard and soft forms, enhancing the layered quality of the piece.
All four compositions are available as giclée prints in a limited edition of 25, sized 85 x 70 cm. Price: €375, excluding frame. Framing is possible upon request. The works are titled, from top to bottom: Noise, Four Elements, Skin, and Neon.
